The Stiga Essential range of side discharge garden tractors offer the user superb value with compact and easy to use machines. The Series 3 Tornado lawn tractors have either a manual or hydrostatic transmission with Stiga engines. The Stiga Tornado 398 is a side discharge mower recommended for use in areas where collection isn’t required. These are usually areas where the grass is overgrown and can be cut roughly to wilt back naturally. With a side-discharge cut the clippings are laid out to the side of the machine in neat rows. An optional mulch kit is available to buy separately .

The Series 3 Tornado 398 has a 98cm (38”) cutter deck with 2 cutting blades. The deck can be adjusted through 7 settings from 25 – 80mm. Start at the highest setting then work down for the best cut. Increased traction is achieved with the rear wheel drive and 18” tyres.  Recommended for mowing areas up to 5000 sqm
