Hayter have introduced these 2 base models as an excellent start for people looking for their 1st petrol lawnmower. 4 wheeled mowers will give your lawn an excellent cut and finish. These models are recommended for mowing small – medium sized lawns.The Hayter Osprey 46 self-propelled mower (HA611B) has a 46cm / 18” cuttingwidth and is powered by a Briggs and Stratton 500 Series petrol engine. The Osprey 46 Autodrive lawn mower can be used in 3 different mowing styles

1. Cut and Collect. Traditional style of cutting and thencollecting into a rear mounted grass bag
2. Rear Discharge. Remove the grass bag and the grass clippings are ejected directly onto the ground behind the mower. Use in longer grass areas where the clippings can be left to wilt back naturally.
3. Mulching. The grass clippings are cut then re-cut into very tiny pieces which are blown back onto the ground. The clippings are so tiny they virtually disappear into the lawn. These recycled grass clippings add extra moisture and nutrients to the grass roots so they grow stronger and healthier.

The cutting heights on the Osprey 46 (HA 611) are very simply adjusted with a single lever from 25 – 70mm. The 55l grass bag is of a fabric design with a wide opening and integrated grab handle for ease of emptying. Hayter have even added a wash port. Attach a hose pipe to the port to clean the underside of the deck of grass build up. Keeping the deck and blade clean can prolong the life of the mower.Specifications
