The responsive hydrostatic transmission is foot operated and drives like an automatic car, with the addition of cruise control to ensure user fatigue is minimal when mowing large grounds. The GTX48HR has an ergonomic design with all operator controls within easy reach and adjustable driver seat. The triple-blade mulching deck leaves an exceptional finish to the lawn with the addition of 6 anti-scalp wheels which efficiently protect the mower and turf from damage.As a side discharge lawn tractor, the ATCO GTX48HR covers ground quickly leaving the grass cuttings to decompose naturally. When mulching, the clippings are blown back to the lawn to breakdown quickly, this process adds nutrients and moisture which promotes a thicker, healthier lawn.
